Having gone to college for four years, I have learned the my pursuit for a Master's degree is causing more stress than should. My four years of undergraduate studies involved Fine Arts, specifically in Theatre. While pursuing my Master's degree in Elementary Education, I have learned that my Theatre experiences have not prepared me as much as my fellow students who have studies Education or have been teaching. I feel as though students are far more prepared then me for this type of program and worry that my lack of knowledge will hurt me in the educational process as well as the teaching process. At times I do question whether or not this is the right career choice for me and wonder if I should pursue something more fitting with my Theatre education. I've always had a love for teaching, and working with kids, but I hope my program and experiences during my education will help me become a teacher.
